Bringing together the conditions for intellectual responsibility The universal challenge, for all leaders and within all organizations: to converge the energies of different audiences in the long-term collective interest. To achieve this, Odissée brings together the four essential ranges of media.
DIALOGUE to think together, STUDY to understand the actors, EVALUATION to develop each person, CSR to engage the actors in the long term.
The transformation of the role of the leader: engaging the public in the long-term collective interest to create a culture of intellectual responsibility.
The sustainable involvement of actors who differ in their status, knowledge, aspirations, perceptions and behaviors depends on the systemic capacity to take into account both each person individually and the collective as a whole.
Building a better world has always been a challenge:
- Innovation is difficult to discern. Strategic anticipation requires rare knowledge; creativity emerges from small groups; on the other hand, adherence to the project depends on sharing the vision.
- Social inertia is inherent in innovation. Resistance to change increases with the level of upheaval of particular interests that it entails and the number of people it concerns.
- The risk of dispersion is always present at the slightest disagreement. Excluding certain actors produces a double effect: the bouncers lose vigilance and energy; the bounced form competing groups.
Immediacy further reinforces the difficulty:
- In the new civilization, everyone has become a transmitter-receiver. With writing, the receivers of information remained few in number; printing has multiplied them; the Internet has transformed them all into producers of information.
- Hierarchies are shaken up. Leaders no longer have a monopoly on the transmission of information: having also become receivers, their own messages and actions are destabilized.
- The multiplication of attempts at participatory mechanisms. The technical possibility of expression is accompanied by the desire to be heard. A new culture, new structures: systemic interactions are spreading, but still very rarely convince.
New methods are becoming essential to continuously rearticulate living together and succeeding together.
Leading a network: uniting stakeholders and building a holistic vision together.
Whatever the theme (Education, Health, Retirement, Police, Justice, Immigration, Secularism, Peace, etc.), leading a network requires revisiting the plurality of essential skills through social intelligence.
Developing thematic tools…:
- The Complexity Scale: a variation of the Social Link Analysis Grid is established. All parameters are separated and ordered according to their level of complexity.
- The Social Innovation Questionnaire: questions are structured to identify and position Testimonies and Practices according to different Behaviors, Aspirations, Perceptions.
- The Socioscope: with the accumulation of feedback, the confidential restitution sheets are enriched with personalized analyses and recommendations.
…and configure the platform:
- Processing and sharing by section: the Odissée platform is configured to process responses in different formats and share them according to the level of dissemination decided by the participants.
- Calibration and filters: with the increase in the number of participants, the comparisons are specified by status, age, territory and internal criteria specific to the organizations.
- Groups, private spaces: everyone can distribute the questionnaire to their contacts and obtain comparative positions while respecting confidentiality.
Building a large-scale dynamic consists of chaining together series of events that associate different and complementary groups.
Leading a meeting: deepening diagnoses and converging projects.
In each event, collective reflection is led according to the Code of Debate, always recalled in the introduction. The intensification of the meeting results from the sophisticated but easy-to-use media that allow everyone to hear everything and progress in handling complexity.
Activate the generic kit…
- The augmented invitation: Create an event in the calendar and select the theme. Guests receive the invitation accompanied by the preparatory Social Innovation Questionnaire.
- The Facts and Ideas Map: Respondents access the testimonies and practices collected. The Facts and Ideas Map presents a summary, in an introductory slideshow to the debate.
- The Minute Questions: Before the meeting, the facilitator can add his questions on the fly and obtain his Speaking Guide. Afterward, the participants' resolutions feed into the report.
…and obtain specific tools.
- The Introductory Slideshow: The Socioscope of the anonymized guests positions them in the Facts and Ideas Map. The slideshow includes a comparison with all the respondents.
- The Speaking Guide: An optimal ordering of speaking distribution balances the diversity of information and proposals for each part of the meeting.
- The Citizen CV and the Dialogue CV: The testimonials and practices are accessible in the news feed, but also in the participants' citizen CVs. Their answers to the Minute questions are available in their Dialogue CVs.
Facilitators can progress in mastering meeting and network facilitation by accessing books, columns, videos, as well as the Odyssey's evaluation, support and training sessions.
With the Minute questionnaires (Agenda, Resolutions), it is easy to increase the interest of discussions during all meetings, at all levels of all organizations, on the topics targeted by the facilitators: Boards of Directors, Management Committees, Municipal Councils, Service Meetings, Congresses, Seminars, Conferences, Work Meetings, Friendly Meetings, etc.
